ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
Tools needed -- two 1/2” wrenches.
NOTE: This UTV Roof Rack was universally designed to fit most brands
of UTV’s with round, steel tube roll cages.
1. Determine which of the provided clamps have a better fit to the roll cage
of your UTV. There are two sizes provided, 1-1/2” and 1-3/4”.
2. Position the UTV Roof Rack on the top of your UTV’s roll cage and center
it from side to side. The sloped end of the rack is the front end, and it
should be facing the front of your UTV.
3. Place (4) of the provided clamps that best match your roll cage tube
diameter onto the roll cage, in line with the mounting rails of UTV Roof
Rack. The clamps may be oriented towards each other, or away from each
other as shown in FIGURE 1.
4. Position the UTV Roof Rack from front to back at desired location while
keeping centered from side to side. Attach roof rack to the clamps by
inserting (4) provided 5/16-18 x 2-1/2” bolts through slots located on roof
rack frame. Attach washer and nyloc nut to bolt that is protruded through
opposite side of each clamp. Tighten securely making sure the inside
of each clamp is contacting the UTV roll cage. This will help prevent UTV
Roof Rack from shifting during use. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
5. Once roof rack is securely tightened to the UTV roll cage, attach the
removable canopy/cover (48037) to the roof rack by stretching it over the
top of rack. Be sure front edge (side with Velcro slits) of canopy/cover is
attached to the front of roof rack. Pull all corners down around bottom edge
of rack. Wrap straps around bottom of rack frame and snap side release
buckles together. Pull straps tight to securely fasten the canopy/cover.
This should be done so canopy/cover does not become detached while
driving UTV. Canopy/cover will help keep you and your gear dry during
inclement weather.
NOTE: The front bars with holes that are on front side of UTV roof
rack are for after market light bar installation. The Velcro slits in
canopy/cover are positioned so light bars may protrude through
freely, and can be refastened with Velcro for a snug fit.
